400-Mile Sale arrives in county

The 15th annual 400-mile sale across Kentucky is scheduled to start today and run through Sunday.

More than 50 vendors participated last year selling antiques, collectibles, home goods and crafts. Food vendors will also be on-site.

America’s homecoming queen

selection scheduled for Pigeon Forge

America’s 38th homecoming queen selection is scheduled for July 16 and 17 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Those who were selected as homecoming queen from 2017-18 and have not received their application are asked to call their high school or 901-755-9144. High school homecoming queens from 1981-2017 are invited to be a part of the celebration as well.

WJHS announces school-based

decision-making council meeting

West Jessamine High School will host a school-based decision making meeting at 10 a.m. Monday in the school’s front office, located at 2101 Wilmore Road, June 4. All parents and guardians of students attending WJHS are welcome.

Solo exhibit announced for Prince Dinger painting
