Nich-Vegas Elite announces pancake breakfast fundraiser

Nich-Vegas Elite, a traveling AAU basketball team from East Jessamine Middle and High Schools, announced it will host an “all you can eat” pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s in Nicholasville, located at 113 N. Plaza Drive, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday, May 12. Tickets are $8 a person. Donations will be accepted and all are welcome.

Jessamine Piecequilters announce annual show

The Jessamine Piecequilters announced it will host its annual quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 19. The show will be held at Nicholasville Christian Church, located at 104 S. Second St. For more information visit jesspq.org.

EJHS Track and Field hosts Central Kentucky conference

East Jessamine High School Track and Field announced it will host and participate in the Central Kentucky conference meet at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 4. The meet will be held at the track located behind West Jessamine Middle School, 1400 Wilmore Road. Admission is free for students wearing 2018 Jessamine County Elementary track meet shirts, or those wearing future jags shirts. Tickets are $5. All are welcome.

Wilmore announces annual flower sale

Wilmore will hold its annual flower sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 5. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wilmore Community Development Board. All are welcome.

Jessamine County Schools announces online registration

Jessamine County Schools announced registration for the 2018-2019 school year will start with spring registration through May 31. Due to Jessamine County Schools summer hours, online registration will close from June 1 -July 11, and will reopen July 12 remaining open until school begins August 15. Golf Scramble at Connemara Golf Course

Alzheimer’s Association Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter announced  its  seventh annual Alzheimer’s Association Round to Remember golf scramble and silent auction scheduled for June 2 at Connemara Golf Course, located at 2327 Lexington Road. YMCA announces weekly classes

The YMCA, located at 220 E. Maple St. in Nicholasville, will offer free Zumba classes from 6 to 7 p.m. through May 21. Free yoga classes will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m. through May 24. All are welcome. For more information, call 859-885-5013.
