The Jessamine Creative Art League students created a banner to say ‘thank you’ for the new park across from the Polvino Family Art Center in downtown Nicholasville. This semester, the students worked to say thank you to organizations which serve the community through art. Each week the group focused on a different organization and created something specific for it. Throughout the year, students have created a work of art to say ‘thank you’ to Downtown Dogs, Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, Shriners Children’s Hospital, Dodd’s Market, The Nest, Nicholasville Police Department, Jessamine County Fire Department, The Chrysalis House and Jessamine County Teachers.
