Jessamine County Head Start announces open enrollment

Jessamine County Head Start preschool program, announced it is now accepting open enrollment for children three-to-four years of age for the 2018-2019 school year. The program is located at 1330 Drake Lane in Wilmore, and provides educational services, school readiness, health services, nutritious meals, disability services and parent involvement and transportation. Wilmore announces annual flower sale

Wilmore will hold its annual flower sale from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 5. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wilmore Community Development Board. All are welcome.

Jessamine County Schools announces online registration

Jessamine County Schools announced registration for the 2018-2019 school year will start with spring registration through May 31. Due to Jessamine County Schools summer hours, online registration will close from June 1 -July 11, and will reopen July 12 remaining open until school begins August 15. For additional support or information contact your child’s school.

Kiwanis Club announces meeting on April 30

The Jessamine County Kiwanis Club announced it will meet at 6 p.m. on April 30 at the Jessamine County Library, located at 600 S. Main St., in meeting room one. All are welcome.

East Jessamine Elementary annual track and field camp announced

East Jessamine High School will host its annual elementary track and field camp today, with registration beginning at 5 p.m. The event is open to children in Kindergarten to fifth-grade. The camp will be held at the EJHS track and soccer field. The cost for the event is $20 and includes a t-shirt. Farmers Market applications now available

The Nicholasville Farmer’s Market announced those interested in becoming vendors, or local artisans looking to display their work, can now pick up applications at the Jessamine County Extension Office, located at 95 Park Drive, or at the Jessamine County Public Library, located at 600 S. Main St. The soft opening for the farmer’s market is scheduled for the last Saturday in April. Golf Scramble at Connemara Golf Course

Alzheimer’s Association Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter announced its seventh annual Alzheimer’s Association Round to Remember golf scramble and silent auction scheduled for June 2 at Connemara Golf Course, located at 2327 Lexington Road. YMCA announces weekly classes

The YMCA, located at 220 E. Maple St. in Nicholasville, will offer free Zumba classes from 6 to 7 p.m. through May 21. Free yoga classes will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m.  through May 24. All are welcome. For more information, call 859-885-5013.
