Lexington man arrested for public intoxication, carrying concealed weapon

Michael C. Duty, 57, of 2015 Rainbow Road in Lexington, was arrested on April 20 for a first-offense prescription container substance not in a proper container, public intoxication (excluding alcohol), carrying a concealed weapon and second-degree possession of a controlled substance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Duty was observed under the influence while in the parking lot of Sam’s Pawn. Duty was described as slow and having slurred speech and glossy eyes, and stated he had just bought a motorcycle from Sam’s Pawn.

Officers searched Duty, which resulted in a confiscation of a concealed 9mm Kel-Tec green and black handgun inside his right front pocket, according to the citation.

Duty informed officers that he does not have a concealed carry permit, which was confirmed through law enforcement, as well as the fact Duty also does not have a motorcycle license.

Upon a further search, officers located a clear bag in Duty’s right front pocket with four orange pills with “AN 415” imprinted on the front. Poison control confirmed the identity of the pills as suboxone. Duty told officers that he was prescribed them but had lost his pill container.

He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for possession of heroin

Jonathan A. English, 30, of 104 S. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

While patrolling S. Main St., English was observed operating a vehicle and it was known to officers English had a warrant out for his arrest.

Officers initiated a traffic stop at the Marathon gas station on Chestnut Street and asked English to step out of the vehicle. English informed officers that he would exit the vehicle but had to do so by climbing out of the passenger side door. While attempting to get out of the passenger side door, officers observed English turn his back and look like he was digging for something, according to the citation.

Officers grabbed English and detained him. Searching the vehicle, officers found a syringe and a spoon in the driver side door compartment.

English was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center. At the center, English was searched again and a clear wrapper with a piece of aluminum filled up with a substance was located inside the coin pocket of his jeans. Inside the foil was a gray powdery substance suspected to be Heroin, according to the citation.

Local men flee police after alleged burglary

Timothy Sterner, 21, of 109 Hasleden Heights in Lancaster, was arrested on April 20 for first-degree burglary, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to Lynwood Drive in reference to a burglary in progress, and were advised the two suspects took off running on foot towards the creek. One of the suspects was apprehended behind the Five Star gas station and advised officers the other suspect was Sterner and he was wearing a white tank top. The subject also advised officers Sterner was headed to 212 Twin Acres.

Officers arrived at the disclosed location and located Sterner in the backyard of the residence wearing the described clothing.  Officers advised Sterner multiple firearms had been taken from the residence but were recovered.

Sterner was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, where he declined to speak to officers, according to the citation.

Larry Hudson, 38, of 128 Redding Court in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for first-degree burglary, fleeing or evading police on foot, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Hudson was a listed subject in a burglary on Lynwood Drive, and allegedly assisted another subject who was also arrested for entering into the residence where several guns were taken, according to the citation.

Hudson fled the scene and was located running behind the bank on Shannon Parkway. Hudson was advised to stop, although continued running. After loosing sight of him briefly, officers located Hudson hiding in the tree line, according to the citation.

Hudson was then held at gunpoint and given verbal commands he did not comply to. Hudson then reached into his pant pocket and pulled out items taken in the burglary. Hudson continued to resist arrest until other officers arrived on scene. A search of Hudson resulted in the confiscation of a suboxone tablet in his left front pocket.

Georgetown man arrested after observed allegedly driving, drinking

Gary D. King Jr., 41, of 614 George Martin Drive in Georgetown, was arrested on April 20 for DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to a reckless driver on Broadway near Fourth. The caller described the vehicle as a green Saturn which was missing the back glass, who had left the roadway many times and almost striking their vehicle. The caller also advised they had observed the operator of the vehicle drinking a Budweiser “tall boy.” A traffic stop was initiated, and King was observed in the drivers seat and was described as very lethargic, displaying slurred speech and having red glassy eyes, according to the citation.

While exiting the vehicle, King was described as unsteady on his feet. A field sobriety test was performed, which King failed. Upon searching the vehicle, officers located three Budweiser containers behind the drivers seat.

King was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine

Jordan Grabs, 24, of 109 Griffin Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 17 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Grabs was on an electronic monitoring device through Fayette County Detention Center on March 9 and consented to checks and searches of his residence at 109 Griffen Drive. On the above listed date officers were conducting a check of Grabs residence and a white powdery substance, suspected to be methamphetamine, was found in Grabs room in his right front pants pocket. Two pipes were found as well with suspected drug residue. Grabs was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for heroin after alleged shoplifting

Christopher Lee Hulett, 38, of 133 Ware Blvd. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for theft by unlawful taking under $500, first-offense trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin) and first-offense trafficking in a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were called to the Five Star gas station on South Main Street in reference to a shoplifter leaving the property. Officers were advised the subject was wearing a black jacket with a tattoo on his neck, and he had stolen $31.78 in merchandise and had left the premise in a red Blazer. Upon contact, Hulett consented to a search. In his right front pocket was found a scale, three tablets in a small plastic baggie and $224 in cash. Hulett identified the tablets as suboxone.

Inside the vehicle on the passenger side was located three phones, the reported stolen merchandise and another container with an additional tablet in it and a white powdery substance, suspected to be heroin. Hulett advised officers the suboxone was his prescription. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Cody White, 26, 104 S. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 16 for theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000 and fleeing or evading the police on foot.

— Joe Williams, 45, of 1001 Keene S. Elkhorn in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 16 for a parole board warrant.

— Romeo J. Williams, 35, of 109 Wichita Dr. #9 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 16 for failure to appear and failure to pay.

— James Edwards Lucus, 29, of 35 Leaden Circle in Nicholasville was arrested on April 16 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Paul Boyd, 39, of 270 Edgewood Dr. #35 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 17 for flagrant non-support.

— John E. Rooney, 25, of 305 Lake St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 17 for contempt of court.

— Lois William Peel, 49, of 303 Rebel Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 17 for non-payment of court fees.

— William Brock, 47, of 113 Old Wilmore Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 18 for contempt.

— Rhonda Faye Fogle, 45, of 3260 Vince Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 18 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order, operating on a suspended or revoked license and expired registration plates.

— Shannon Johnson, 34, of 522 Nottaway Dr. #B in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 18 for failure to appear.

— Turner Paige, 42, of 1037 Gainsay Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 19 on a Fayette warrant.

— Kyle Hayes, 26, of 105 Platt Dr. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 19 for non-payment of court fees.

— Stephanie R. Peacock, 26, of 1479 Augusta Court #7 in Lexington, was arrested on April 19 for failure to appear.

— Charles Smith, 45, of 117 Waley Court in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Mackenzie B. Marshall, 23, of 616 S. Third St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for theft by deception cold checks under $10,000.

— Rachel Lynn Martin, 31, of 2021 Pollys Bend Road in Lancaster, was arrested on April 20 for contempt of court.

— Jose Jimenez-Aguilar Alfredo, 29, of 307 Edgewood Drive #A in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for fourth-degree assault minor injury and failure to appear.

— Quavon Winslow, 21, of 402 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for contempt of court.

— Anthony D. Hulett, 43, of 150 Northland Drive #27 in Lexington, was arrested on April 20 for a parole violation.

— Taylor Spicer, 21, of 122 Lone Oak Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for failure to appear.

— Jonathan A. English, 30, of 104 S. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000.

— David E. Cole, 40, of 514 Alta Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for failure to appear.

— Christopher Daniel Walters, 23, of 2991 Union Mill Road in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for non-payment of court fees.

— Kevin Wayne Tyson, 40, of 95 Colgan Road in Wallingford, was arrested on April 20 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Lindell Roberson, 32, of 800 Beuford Place #7 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 20 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Ashley M. Gore, 27, of 73 Leaden Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 21 for non-payment of fine and failure to appear.

— Erica Holly Rainwater, 37, of 326 Garden Park Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 21 for failure to appear.

— Travis C. Kemp, 34, of 1051 Pinoak Drive #1051 in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 21 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— James S. King, 35, of 104 S. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 22 for non-payment of court fees.

— Gary W. English, 32, of 104 S. Central Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 22 for failure to appear.

— William Grave, 27, of 100 Portland Way in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 21 for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and failure to appear.

— Samuel B. Gruber, 26, of 508  Barberry Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested on April 22 for leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

— Anthony Thomas Hendren, 32, of 870 Lebanon Church Road in Paducah, was arrested on April 22 for failure to appear.

— Justin L. Smith, 22, of 18 N. Camp Dick Road in Lancaster, was arrested on April 23 for failure to appear.
