The Bryan Station Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met on Sept. 6, 2017 at Equestrian Woods Clubhouse in Nicholasville. They welcomed Lt. Laura Combs, a member of the United States Navy.

Lt. Combs shared her love of flying, which led her toward the goal of attending the Naval Academy. She served as Electronic Warfare Officer on the EA-18G “Growler,” and currently holds the position of Chief Staff Officer in the Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) in Maryland.
