Shortly after 4 p.m. on June 21, 2017, Nicholasville police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Game Stop store on North Main Street. Upon arrival, officers were advised that a male suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded that the clerk give him money from the cash drawer. The clerk complied with the order, and provided an undisclosed amount of cash to the robber. The suspect then fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male dressed in all black attire with his face covered and sunglasses on. He was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun. Anyone with information on the crime or the suspect is encouraged to contact the Nicholasville Police Department.
