Due to limited parking space at the national cemetery, guest parking is encouraged at Heritage Park, located at 6614 Danville Road. A shuttle bus will be in service taking guests between Heritage Park and the cemetery. For those who are disabled or need additional accommodation, golf cart service will also be available.

With traffic on U.S. 27 increased and slowed near Camp Nelson for the those attending the celebration, the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department is encouraging travelers to use extra caution and allow for extra travel time in the vicinity Monday morning. Pedestrian traffic will be high near the front gate of the park. Several deputies and Nicholasville Police Department Safety Officers will be on the scene.
