The Dollar General store located on Edgewood Plaza was robbed by a male subject wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a bandana over his face on Sunday, April 16.
Nicholasville Police responded to the call shortly before 10 p.m., according to a press release from the Nicholasville Police Department.
The man entered the store carrying a Dollar General bag. He allegedly kept one hand in his pocket to imply that he had a weapon. He had the clerk open the register and helped empty the contents of the drawer into his bag. He then fled on foot toward Edgewood Baptist Church, according to the press release.
Though police were on the scene within a couple of minutes, they were unable to locate the suspect. The Nicholasville Police Department is requesting the public’s help to identify the subject.
