Raleigh Eugene Samples (Pete), 50, was pronounced dead at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky on March 24, 2017. He was a native of Manchester, Kentucky. He was survived by his wife Judy Collins; mother Martha Presby; step-children Josie Bullock, Justin Johnston, John Johnston, Ashley Johnston, Cindy Rutherford, Shy Hanley; sisters Becky Burt, Rene Sosby, Lucy Deaton, Paula Deaton; and brother Oren Deaton. He was preceded by his father, Raleigh Campbell; sister Rhoda Deaton; and brothers Robert Samples and Raleigh Campbell, Jr. A Memorial Remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 at Ignite Church, located on 996 N. Main Street in Nicholasville, with Pastor Nipp presiding. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home was honored to arrange cremation services.
