—Nicholasville United Methodist Church will host a Women’s Retreat from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 25. Registration for the retreat titled “Journey of Transformation” will begin at 8:30 p.m. on March 23. There will be a $5 charge. 

—Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church located on 1001 Mt Lebanon Pike in Nicholasville will host a revival beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 26 through Friday, March 31. During the week, the revival will begin at 7 p.m. Evangelist Dan Frederick will host.

—First Assembly of God, as well as other churches in the community, has joined a group called “Intercessors for America.” The purpose of the group is to pray for God’s divine guidance for the leaders of federal, state, counties and cities. The “Intercessors of America will meet on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This month’s meeting will be hosted on March, 28 at the First Assembly of God Church, located at 1701 Wilmore Road. Future meetings will occur in other churches as they join in prayer as well as on the courthouse lawn in warmer weather. —St. Athanasius will host Lazarus Saturday Liturgy at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 8. This event will include a pancake breakfast, Easter egg dyeings, Palm-folding and children’s confession.

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host an Easter Celebration Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 16. Donuts, coffee and juice will be provided. Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:15 a.m. and Morning Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. with special music by the Sanctuary Choir. No Evening Worship.

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host a Power Revival on April 29 and 30.

—A prayer meeting will be hosted every Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at Sonlight Fellowship Church of God at 216 E. Oak St. Everyone is welcome.

—Women’s Bible study will meet Thursday mornings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Nicholasville Salvation Army, located at 205 South 1st Street. —Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, 100 Lime Lane, offers free bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area. Saint Athanasius distributes this bread, supplied by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

—Providence Christian Church, 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

—Walking With Love’s Laundry Love ministry is offered every third Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Laundry, 630 Edgewood Drive. Households of up to four people can do a doubl load of laundry for free; households of more than four people can do a triple-load of laundry for free. Anyone can use the service, but each household is limited to using it once every three months. An I.D. will be requested in order to track how often households are using the service.

—Walking With Love Food Pantry at 220 Edgewood Drive is open from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

—Free meal offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at 303 W. Maple Street in the Community Center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. Volunteers are always welcome.
