—Nicholasville First Assembly of God is having a full-time evangelist from Corona, California come to the church to speak at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 and 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 19. All is welcome. Dea Warford has pastored for around 15, and he has preached in all 50 states.

—A prayer meeting will be hosted every Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at Sonlight Fellowship Church of God at 216 E. Oak St. Everyone is welcome.  —Women’s Bible study will meet Thursday mornings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Nicholasville Salvation Army located at 205 South 1st Street. All women are welcome to gather around the table each week for Bible study and prayer. If you have any questions, you may call or text Kim Ball at 859-227-1153 —Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, 100 Lime Lane, offers free bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area. Saint Athanasius distributes this bread, supplied by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

—Providence Christian Church, 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

—Walking With Love’s Laundry Love ministry is offered every third Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Laundry, 630 Edgewood Drive. Households of up to four people can do a double load of laundry for free; households of more than four people can do a triple-load of laundry for free. Anyone can use the service, but each household is limited to using it once every three months. An I.D. will be requested in order to track how often households are using the service.

—Walking With Love Food Pantry at 220 Edgewood Drive is open from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

—Free meal offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at 303 W. Maple Street in the Community Center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church.  The meal is a restaurant-quality hot, nutritionally balanced meal.  Take out meals are also available, one meal per person.  The meal is funded by freewill donations from churches, businesses and residents of Jessamine Co.  No one is ever asked to pay for their meal.
