Johnthan “Kyle” Preston, 24, of Nicholasville, husband of Amanda Wireman Preston and father of Abigail “Abby” Preston, passed January 17, 2017. He was born June 4, 1992 in Lexington, KY to Veronica (Glenn) Young Saylor. He was serving in the U.S. Army, loved to spend time with his family, a fan of the Texas Longhorns and he loved baseball. Additional survivors are a brother, Scott T. Young of Ft. Campbell; a grandfather Ronald Young of Nicholasville; a cousin, Toni Young of Nicholasville;  and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and brothers from around the world. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Laura Gail “Mimmie” Young. Service will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Bearers will be the Military Honor Guard.
