Indictments published Jan. 12

The Jessamine County Grand Jury convened on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016 and returned the following indictments in open court on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016: 

• Joshua Barrett — first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia

• Bubby Burton – flagrant non-support (two counts)

• Angela N. Jones – theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting; theft of identity of another; first-degree persistent felony offender

• Perla N. Mejia —first-degree possession of controlled substance; trafficking in  a controlled substance

• Glen C. Robinson — second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (18 counts); possession of forgery device; false making or embossing of credit cards theft of identity; trafficking in financial information; trafficking in stolen identities; first-degree persistent felony offender. 

• Sean Blankenship — felon in possession of a handgun

• Anthony Buchanan — theft by unlawful taking, value less than $500; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; third-degree possession of a controlled substance

• Eric Cannady & Montai Matthews — first-degree assault (Cannady); first-degree wanton endangerment (Cannady); receiving stolen property (Cannady); receiving stolen property (Matthews); carrying a concealed deadly weapon (Matthews); possession of marijuana (Matthews) 

• Joseph Couch — driving under the influence, fourth of subsequent offense; driving on a suspended license; driving under the influence, fourth of subsequent offense; driving on a suspended license 

• Joshua Johnson — second-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking, value $10,000 or more 

• Jonathon Wilson — second-degree assault; operating a motor vehicle under the influence; first-degree wanton endangerment (two counts); leaving the scene of an accident; first-degree attempted robbery; second-degree possession of a controlled substance; third-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; resisting arrest
