Clay Horn

Dec. 21, 1948 – Dec. 5, 2016

Clay Horn, 67, was a native of Jessamine County but current resident of Garrard County for 16 years. He died at his home surrounded by his loving wife of 42 years, his children, mother, sister and many loving family members. Clay is preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Clay Horn; his father, Clay Walker Horn and an Aunt, Beulah Katherine Reynolds. He is survived by his wife Susan Kay Woolums Horn; a daughter Megan (Kevin) Montgomery; a son Richie (Leslee) Horn; four grandchildren, Isabella Susanne and Isaac Clay Dorton Montgomery, Madison Kay and MaKenlee Grace Horn; his mother, Lydia Horn; sister Jennie (Charles) Houp; a special cousin, Debbie (David) Bruner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Service will be 2 p.m. on Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
