Mildred Cartwright

Mildred June Tupts Cartwright, 87, widow of Earl Cartwright, passed Saturday, November 12, 2016. June was born June, 1, 1929 in Jessamine County to the late Omer and ruth Vernon Corman Tupts. She was a member of Lancaster Baptist Tabernacle Church in Lancaster, KY. She liked sewing and crafts, going to yard sales, church, singing and just getting out and talking to people. Family survivors are five children, Carolyn Corman, Peggy (Bill) Wheeler, Donna (Roy) Durham, Kathy Lawson and Ruth Ann (George) Diffenbach, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, a sister, Lois Reed, nieces, nephews and other family members. She was also preceded in death by four sons, Omer, David, Michael and Robert Cartwright. Service was 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Wheeler and Bro. gary Lawson officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
