Brenda Maillet

Brenda Faye Carl Maillet, 60, loving mother and wife of Gary Maillet, passed Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born July 21, 1956 in Lexington, KY to the late Richard Clifton Carl Sr., and Frances Lee Carroll Carl. Brenda was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and Sisters in Christ Circle. Family survivors are three children, Jason Charles (Hannah) von Schlutter, Jessica Lee (Jeremy) Wright and Joshua Carl (Ashley) von Schlutter; two step children, Monica Wirtz and Betty Crutcher; two grandchildren, Isaac von Schlutter and Eleanor Faye Wright; three step-grandchildren, Danielle Crutcher, Jacob Wirtz and Nicholas Wirtz; two sisters, Patricia Carl Masters and Linda Carl (Jim) Hoskins; one brother, Richard Carl Jr.; three special nieces, Diana, Kaitlyn and Charlotte Beville, and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Brock. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Price officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church. Bearers will be Wes Thomas, Jim Mullins, Tim Moss, James Slusher, Mike Davis and Roger Davis.
