School lunch menus for March 15 - March 19

Elementary schools

Monday, March 15

Choice of one: Popcorn chicken with roll, deli ham sandwich. Sides: Macaroni and cheese, seasoned broccoli, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, cookie.

Tuesday, March 16

Choice of one: Pizza, submarine sandwich. Sides: Veggies with dip, tossed salad, fresh fruit, chilled peaches, pudding with topping.

Wednesday, March 17

Choice of one: Nachos with cheese sauce and taco meat, chicken patty sandwich. Sides: Pasta salad, seasoned corn, fresh fruit, blushing applesauce, St. Patrick’s Day cake.

Thursday, March 18 (Early release day)

Choice of one: Scrambled eggs with sausage, toasted cheese sandwich. Sides: Potato rounds, fresh fruit, fruit juice, baked apples, golden biscuit.

Friday, March 19 (No school, Central KEA District Day)

Middle and high schools

Monday, March 15

Choice of one: Chicken nuggets, submarine sandwich, honey barbecue rib on bun. Sides: Green beans, whipped potatoes, layered pea salad, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, hot roll, chocolate chip cookie.

Tuesday, March 16

Choice of one: Nachos with cheese and beef, burrito with cheese sauce, shrimp poppers with hush puppies. Sides: Seasoned corn, refried beans, pasta salad, tossed salad, fresh fruit, chilled pears, chocolate brownie with icing.

Wednesday, March 17

Choice of one: Oven baked chicken with roll, foot long with Coney sauce, ham and cheese sandwich. Sides: Whipped potatoes, seasoned peas, pickled beets, fresh fruit, applesauce, hot roll, St. Patrick’s Day cake.

Thursday, March 18 (Early release day)

Choice of one: Scrambled eggs and sausage, toasted cheese sandwich. Sides: Potato rounds, fruit juice, fresh fruit, baked apples, golden biscuit, gravy.

Friday, March 19 (No school)

Milk or beverage of choice on each menu. Meal cost: Lunch $1.25, reduced price lunch 40 cents, breakfast 80 cents, reduced breakfast 30 cents, extra milk 35 cents and adult meal price is $2.25. Additional entrée choices: chef salad; daily additional vegetable choice: veggies and tossed salad.
