Wilmore’s Chad Crouch, a Republican, has filed to run for state senator for the 22nd District, which includes Jessamine County.

Crouch is the owner of Cre8tive Group, a Wilmore-based marketing communications company.

“As a parent and a business owner, I believe our state stands at a crossroads,” he said in a news release. “We must elect leadership that can generate real economic prosperity. We need leaders who are accountable and responsible, and will make the best decisions for our long-term benefit.”
