Bethel to hold Gospel Extravaganza

A Gospel Extravaganza featuring local talent of Jessamine County will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Bethel Church, located at 107 York St., Nicholasville.

The event is a fundraiser sponsored by Central Lodge No. 91 and Fairest Chapter No. 104 O.E.S. of Nicholasville. Proceeds will be used for community projects. The public is invited to attend.

First Assembly to hold dinner, movie night

First Assembly of God will host a dinner and a movie night Friday, Feb. 12. A home-cooked Italian dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Following dinner, the movie “No Greater Love” will be shown.

There is no charge for the dinner, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Royal Rangers program. The church is located at 1701 Wilmore Road. For more information, call 553-4387.

The public is invited to attend.

New Haven to hold monthly singing

New Haven Chapel will hold its monthly singing at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. Musicians interested in performing or singing are invited to attend. For more information, call Pastor Billy Peel at 885-6691.

Ministerial association to hold breakfast

A fellowship breakfast for the Jessamine County Ministerial Association will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Nicholasville Golden Corral.

All pastors, ministers and chaplains in Jessamine County are invited to attend. No RSVPs are needed. As you pay for your meal, let the cashier know you are there for the JCMA breakfast and you will guided to the gathering area.

First Assembly to host Living Free Group

There will be an upcoming Living Free Group on Depression at First Assembly of God of Nicholasville Church.

This small group study deals with understanding depression, the relationship between depression and spiritual warfare, and discusses ways to fight depression with scripture, prayer and mutual support. The group meets every Wednesday evening for nine weeks, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The group began Jan. 27.

Bethel to hold birthday celebration

Bethel Church is sponsoring a 100th birthday celebration for Mary Dee Williams at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
